Peer-to-peer Electricity-Carbon Quota Trading Mechanism among IESs Considering Ladder Carbon Market

Integrated energy systems (IESs) are considered a key transition to future low-carbon energy systems. Peer-to-peer (P2P) energy trading is a new paradigm for regional interconnected IESs to achieve energy synergies and optimize energy scheduling. However, the current P2P trading among IESs lacks the integration of energy trading and carbon trading mechanism. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a P2P trading mechanism for electricity-carbon quota between regional interconnected IESs. Firstly, we consider the IESs participating in the carbon trading market, and introduce a ladder carbon trading mechanism to guide IESs to control carbon emissions. Each IES is given the right to decide the trading volume and the trading price, and the IESs electricity-carbon quota P2P trading model is established based on the cooperative game. The Alternating Direction Multiplier Method is used to solve the electricity-carbon trading model in a distributed manner, and each IES’s privacy is protected. The simulation results verify that the electricity-carbon quota P2P trading mechanism proposed paper can realize the distributed energy management of interconnected IESs. The total operation cost and carbon emissions are reduced by 17.28% and 19.48%, respectively.
