Comprehensive Analysis of Solar Radiation Effects on the Cooling Performance of Prefabricated Thin Radiant Floor Terminals Using a Frequency-Domain RC-Network Model
This study proposes a comprehensive frequency-domain RC dynamic heat transfer model that couples a room with prefabricated thin radiant floor terminals, considering the impact of solar radiation. The model is designed to accurately and dynamically analyze the cooling performance of these terminals under varying solar radiation conditions. The MATLAB implementation of the model demonstrates its computational efficiency, and its accuracy is validated through comparative analysis with laboratory-measured data and EnergyPlus simulations. The results show that solar radiation significantly affects the cooling performance, increasing the total cooling capacity and temperatures while reducing convective and radiative heat exchanges. The model’s ability to respond quickly to changes in solar radiation makes it particularly suitable for environments requiring rapid temperature adjustments. The prefabricated thin radiant floor terminal responds quickly to solar radiation, making it suitable for areas requiring rapid temperature adjustment.
