Indirect Influence of Renewable Energy Usage on Countries' Stability and Companies' Competitiveness: A Preliminary Analysis
By examining the interplay between renewable energy usage and consumer preferences, this paper investigates the indirect influence of renewable energy usage on companies' competitiveness and its connection to the stability of the countries where they operate. The transition to renewable energy, which has significant implications for technology innovation management in the electrical engineering sector, is critical not only for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 7 (affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy for all), but also for enhancing national economic stability and resilience in the face of geopolitical crises. The paper also empirically supports the notion that the renewable energy transition drives technological change, creating a strong demand for sustainable practices in the electrical engineering sector. This demand is increasingly influenced by consumer preferences for environmentally responsible products and companies.
