Optimizing Energy Management in Shopping Centers with Smart Grid and Solar Power

The article is devoted to the development and improvement of methods for managing the power supply of commercial buildings with high consumption. Specifically, it focuses on shopping centers, which are significant consumers of electricity. Smart Grid technology was chosen as a key element for optimizing the power supply management of large capacity facilities. Tasks were formulated aimed at developing general approaches and methods of modernization of existing shopping centers. The article presents a synthesized power source management system that takes into account the features of objects with high electricity consumption. Attention is focused on practical applications of modeling results, which can contribute to the implementation of advanced solutions in the field of power supply management of large power facilities. It is noted that the proposed methods and systems can ensure the efficient operation of energy systems taking into account modern requirements for stability and energy efficiency. The modes of operation of the commercial building were analyzed. A mathematical model of a shopping center with installed solar panels and that takes into account the operating power of the equipment has been developed. The results of the modeling made it possible to estimate the potential of reducing energy consumption when implementing solar energy systems. The obtained figures emphasize both the economic feasibility and the energy benefits of using renewable energy sources in commercial buildings.
