The Effection of Forebody Fuel Ejection on the Integrated Flow Field of High-speed Inlet/forebody
Considering the integrated configuration of the inlet/forebody constructed in the early stage, the influence of injecting fuel into the first and second compression surfaces of the wedge-shaped body in the lower wall of the forebody on the integrated flow field of inlet/forebody is analyzed by numerical simulation. When the fuel is ejected from the injection holes at the first and second compression surfaces with different angles and pressures, the wave structure in the flow field of the inlet/forebody will completely deviate from the design state, only forming a small range of pressure gradient zone near the injection hole, while the other areas are isobaric zones. Meanwhile, the temperature field in the flow field of the inlet/forebody varies little, forming a small area of low temperature near the injection hole. In addition, since the maximum temperature in the boundary layer is much higher than the ignition temperature of hydrogen (900 K), which is easy to cause pre-ignition, the fuel injection method must be further improved.
