A Virtual Power Plant Cluster Resource Replacement Operation Method Considering Differential Resource Characteristics
With the development of power systems, the management and scheduling of a single virtual power plant (VPP) can no longer meet the needs for optimal resource allocation and operation. This paper focuses on distributed resources such as distributed generation, energy storage, and flexible loads. It establishes regulation performance indicators including response status, response rate, and response depth. The typical operational external characteristics of various VPPs are proposed. Further, from the perspective of supply-demand equilibrium, considering the complementary space for different types of VPP resources and their flexible responses, the paper proposes a method for resource substitution operations among clusters of VPPs with the aim of maximizing social welfare. This method fully explores the potential for electricity demand substitution between VPPs and within their internal resources.
