Biodegradable Polymeric Nanocomposite for Wound Healing Application
Abstract For the application of various substances to wounds, it is appealing to discover a bearer material that is moderately modest in terms of medicinal behavior and gets effectively connected to the injury and helps as a decent transporter for medicaments without disturbing its property of biodegradability. In this work biodegradable composites consisting of chitosan, sodium alginate (SA), and gelatin with neem extract are synthesized. XRD, FTIR, and SEM analysis are used to characterize these polymeric films. Chitosan can be spread as a gel layer on the wound along with other biodegradable wound‐healing material with their antimicrobial and antibacterial properties for effective healing.
