Determination of the Distribution of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles Deposited on Textile Fibres with Limited Optical Observation Data
The possibility of registering the nanoscale size of iron oxides embedded in textile fibers by optical microscopy has been proved. The distribution ofparticles onflax, cotton, wool and polyester fibers has been studied. The possibility of extrapolating the data to the nanoscale was revealed. A function that determines the distribution of particle sizes is proposed. The main constants characterizing the retention of nanoconstituents by fibers were determined. It is proved that the largest percentage of nanosizes is retained in flax fibers, and the smallest percentage in polyester fibers. The obtained results make it possible to predict the content of nanoconstituents from a mixture of divalent and trivalent iron oxides, which is the basis for the creation of magnetic smart materials
