Enhancing Printed Document Security with QR Code-Based Digital Signatures
this paper discusses a new methodology in integrating digital signatures into printed documents using QR code technology. The proposed system will allow users to securely sign documents by creating a unique hash of the document content, encrypting it with the user password, and encoding it into a QR code that would be printed with the document for easy verification of its authenticity and integrity. It includes scanning of documents, re-application of password by the user, and ensuring that the document is not tampered with by matching the validation hash with the hash scanned from the QR Code. An even better way of trying to bring security to the printed documents-just a straightforward yet effective way of validating digital signatures on physical media.
