Exploring The Use Of Problem-Solving Based Interactive Video Media In Accounting Education: A Qualitative Study at Kasiman Vocational School
This research investigates the use of problem-solving-based interactive video media in Accounting education at Kasiman Vocational School. The research aims to explore how these interactive videos influence both student engagement and learning experiences, particularly in the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, which emphasizes student-centered learning. Through in-depth interviews and classroom observations, the study reveals that interactive videos significantly enhance student motivation and understanding of complex accounting concepts by making the learning process more dynamic and engaging. Additionally, the study highlights the development of students' problem-solving skills, as they are encouraged to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. However, challenges such as technical limitations and potential over-reliance on media are also identified. The findings suggest that while interactive video media can transform vocational education by aligning it more closely with real-world applications, it is essential to balance its use with traditional teaching methods to ensure comprehensive skill development.
