Nguyên nhân phá hủy bề mặt gạch tháp Khương Mỹ và giải pháp hạn chế hư hỏng gạch phục chế, sử dụng gia cường khối xây tháp trong môi trường biển

The phenomenon of the surface of Champa towers being decayed due to the crystallization of some chemical compounds is a common phenomenon, occurring in all towers along the coastal region, causing many towers to be at risk of collapse. Reinforcing the towers in vulnerable areas with restored bricks has been carried out, but the speed of physical impact on the brick surface of the restored bricks occurs much faster than that of the ancient bricks. This article will provide some information on the cause of the decay of the surface of the Khuong My-Quang Nam tower bricks due to the crystallization of some chemical compounds, explain the reason why the reinforced blocks decay faster than the ancient bricks, and then give some recommendations to limit the decaying rate of the reinforced blocks made of restored bricks.
