BAHAN AJAR BERKEARIFAN LOKAL BERBANTUAN GOOGLE BARD/ GEMINI: SOLUSI PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

The problem experienced by the target partners is the need for mathematics teaching materials based on local wisdom for higher quality and fun learning for students; teachers' skills in developing mathematics teaching materials based on local wisdom in learning based on local wisdom are still lacking; and the need for training activities on the creation of mathematics teaching materials based on local wisdom for more in-depth and comprehensive learning based on local wisdom. The purpose of this activity is to help mathematics teachers in Banyuasin Regency develop mathematics teaching materials integrated with local wisdom using Google Bard/Gemini, assist more deeply and comprehensively, integrate Community Service (PkM) activities with research and teaching, provide opportunities for students to apply the knowledge gained in lectures in the real world, and find out the teacher's response to this service activity. PkM activities are carried out in a hybrid manner, namely face-to-face/virtual through zoom conference meetings (synchronous) and asynchronously through WhatsApp and e-mail. PkM activities use a mentoring model. The methods used are the distribution of materials, lectures, and demonstrations. The activity is carried out in 4 stages, namely preparation, mentoring, implementation and follow-up. 5 teaching materials were obtained that integrated local wisdom, and outputs in the form of posters, activity videos, mass media articles, etc. The teacher was very enthusiastic in participating in this activity and hoped that there would be other material.
