Development of the Architecture of Energy-Saving Automated Control System for Heat and Power Enterprises of the National Economy

The article presents a solution to the problem of optimising the operating modes of combined-cycle gas turbine plants according to the criterion of minimum energy losses (maximum energy efficiency) and proposes an architecture of an energy-saving automated control system for a combined-cycle gas turbine plant (CCGT). The architecture is based on an improved mathematical model of the main technological processes of steam and gas turbine plants and their key components (steam boiler, combined cycle turbine plant, condenser). To achieve this goal, an optimisation algorithm was created that takes into account the dynamic characteristics of the system and variable operating conditions. This algorithm focuses on adjusting key parameters such as fuel consumption, turbine inlet temperature, and pressure levels to maintain optimal performance. The proposed architecture integrates an automated control system that is capable of real-time monitoring and adapting to changes in operating conditions and adjusting optimisation parameters. The proposed automated control system not only improves the overall energy efficiency, but also extends the service life of the plant components, reducing operational loads and wear and tear. The results of the study show that the implementation of these optimisations can significantly increase the net efficiency of a combined cycle plant, providing both economic and environmental benefits.
