Robust Dual-Band Matching Solution for Diverse Loads
This article presents a miniaturized matching network designed for any arbitrary reflection coefficient at uncorrelated frequencies. The proposed design utilizes three transmission lines and achieves impedance-matching for high-frequency ratios. It allows the same set of load impedances to be matched at different frequency ratios. Two prototypes were fabricated on Rogers RT/duroid 5880 H1/H1 R4 substrate to validate the concept, with one operating at 0.5 GHz and the other at 5.8 GHz. The prototype results demonstrate a strong correspondence between simulated and actual measurements.
