Technological Control of the Petroleum Pretreatment Unit Based on the Indicator of Its Relative Dielectric Permittivity
The possibility of using the relative dielectric permittivity indicator for monitoring and controlling the operation of the primary oil pretreatment unit was presented. It was defined that relative dielectric permittivity significantly depends on both the hydrocarbon composition of oil and the presence of impurities such as water, sulfur, and chloride salts. It is proposed to use an algorithm based on measuring the relative dielectric permittivity to determine the level and quality of oil pretreatment.
