Optimal Economic Operation Model for “Wind-Solar-Thermal-Storage” Energy Bases Considering Peaking Auxiliary Service Cost Sharing
The large-scale grid connection of renewable energy has led to increased pressure on deep peaking during the valley load period. Peaking thermal power units and energy storage systems (ESS) appear to have low motivation to participate in the peaking market. Therefore, the strategy considers the correction of power factor, cost factor, peaking willingness factor, and redistributes the payment costs of renewable energy (RE) and conventional thermal power units (TPU). Then, the optimal economic operation model for"wind-solar-thermal-storage"energy bases considering peaking auxiliary service cost sharing is developed with minimizing the system operating cost. Finally, the results show that compensation cost sharing strategy can increase the total benefits of energy storage, improve the allocation of peaking resources in the market, and increase the enthusiasm and initiative of thermal power units.
