High-Frequency Model of the Ship System «Voltage Source Inverter with Pulse Width Modulation - Asynchronous Motor»

A substitution scheme and a refined methodology for determining the parameters of the high-frequency ship system «Voltage Source Inverter with Pulse Width Modulation - Asynchronous Motor» scheme have been proposed. This can be used for studying the operation of the ship's electrical power system and assessing the levels of electromagnetic interference in the system. The proposed scheme can be used for modeling and predicting high-frequency, common-mode, and differential electromagnetic interference. A comparison was conducted between the proposed scheme and well-known substitution schemes. An analysis of the results of computer simulations in comparison with experimental studies was carried out. During the analysis, both internal and parasitic parameters of the system were taken into account.
