Anti‐bacterial Role of Zinc Oxide Synthesized Using Naturally Abundant Material
Abstract The large‐scale chemical synthesis of nanoparticles has a very detrimental effect on the environment. Therefore, w e explored a green route for the synthesis of ZnO nanoparticles using plant extract. W e report the synthesize of ZnO nanoparticles via both green and chemical routes for comparison. Both samples are characterized using a UV‐visible spectrophotometer, X‐ray diffraction analysis (XRD), and a photo‐illuminator. Their properties are compared, and then their antimicrobial activity is tested. Notably, the green synthesis method is cost‐effective and eco‐friendly compared to chemical synthesis.
