Research on the Impact of Climatic Factors on the Properties of Plant-Polymer Composites
The article is dedicated to the study of the impact of climatic factors on the properties of plant-polymer composites. It has been shown that the developed plant-polymer composites, created based on secondary polyolefins and agricultural waste in the form of buckwheat and oat husks, do not fall short of their industrial counterparts, wood-polymer composites, in terms of resistance to the specified factors, according to the test results. It has also been noted that, considering the service life of industrial wood-polymer composite counterparts, it can be asserted that the service life of the developed plant-polymer composites based on secondary high-density polyethylene and plant-based waste is at least 20 years, and for based on secondary polypropylene and plant-based waste at least 25 years.
