Hubungan Perilaku Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk Dan Perilaku Menguras, Menutup Dan Mendaur Ulang Plus Dengan Kejadian Demam Berdarah Dengue Di Kecamatan Jagakarsa Tahun 2024

Dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an endemic disease that is a global health problem in more than 100 countries around the world. The objective of this study was to determine the association between The Behavior of Mosquito Breeding Site Eradication (PSN) and the 3M Plus (Draining, Covering, and Recycling) in Relation to DHF in Jagakarsa District. This study was conducted using a case-control study design and quantitative research methodology. The research was conducted from April to June 2024. The population of this study was all patients who sought treatment at the Jagakarsa Sub-District Health Centre and lived in Jagakarsa Sub-District. The sample of this study was 108 respondents, with 54 cases and 54 controls. The dependent variable in this study is the incidence of DHF. The independent variables are the behavior of Mosquito Breeding Site Eradication (PSN) (use of mosquito repellent and the habit of hanging clothes) and the behavior of Draining, Covering, and Recycling (3M) Plus. The study results using the Chi-Square test (P≤0.05) indicate that the variables of mosquito repellent usage (p-value: 0.000), the habit of hanging clothes (p-value: 0.016), and the 3M Plus behavior (p-value: 0.001) have a significant relationship with the incidence of DHF. It is hoped that the community will adopt independent DHF prevention practices.
