Abstract

The article aims to substantiate the need to create and develop an environmental safety management circuit for business entities to minimize environmental risks, increase competitiveness, and ensure sustainable development. The results of the study are presented, indicating the importance of integrating the environmental circuit into the management of business entities, given the high potential of the specified strategy in acquiring signs of sustainability within the framework of leading global trends, which allows for forming long-term market advantages. Within the framework of the presented approach, environmental risks arising in the process of economic activity are considered, and measures are developed to prevent and minimize them. The environmental management system consists of environmental impact assessment, monitoring of environmental indicators, use of renewable energy sources, waste reduction, and optimization of production processes in the direction of a circular economy. One of the main elements of integrating environmental goals into the enterprise management strategy is using the ESG approach, which includes environmental, social, and management elements.
