A Design of Gas Humidity Detection System Based on Electric Potential Difference
A gas humidity detection system is presented based on electric potential difference in this paper. If it is necessary to detect the gas humidity, the gas to be measured will enter the catheter through the air inlet at one end of the system, the hygroscopic material layer absorbs the moisture in the gas to be measured, which causes the volume of the hygroscopic material layer to change, and then changes the pressure in the catheter, the flexible material layer in the system deforms and acts on the piezoelectric material layer in the system. Under the action of pressure, the piezoelectric material layer produces opposite polarity charges at both ends, the first electrode and the second electrode detect the potential difference of the piezoelectric material under pressure, and according to the relationship between the potential difference and the humidity of the gas to be measured, the humidity of the gas to be measured is obtained. The detection system of gas humidity presented in this paper has simple structure and strong expandability, which provides a new method for gas humidity detection.
