Embedded-based Simple Oscilloscope System Design Study

With the development of science and technology, the application of embedded systems in portable instruments has become more and more widespread, which not only improves the performance and stability of portable instruments, but also makes these instruments more suitable for a variety of complex working environments. In some special working scenarios, debugging and operating robots and carrying portable measuring instruments for data acquisition and analysis can greatly improve work efficiency and safety. Therefore, with the development of science and technology and the continuous expansion of application fields, simple oscilloscopes in industrial production, scientific research and detection, environmental monitoring and other fields of application is very broad prospects. With the innovation of technology, portable measuring instruments will become more multi-functional, providing more convenient and efficient testing solutions for various industries. The aim of this paper is to develop a portable device based on STM32 microcontroller that integrates a simple oscilloscope and a signal generating circuit to satisfy a variety of needs. Through the study of the system, and simulation and physical data comparison, finally achieved in the horizontal time base 2us-1ms, analogue bandwidth of 20kHZ range of data is basically the same, can meet the normal measurement needs. It solves the problems of the traditional measuring instruments which are large in size, not easy to carry, complicated in mode adjustment and difficult to operate.
