Development of wideband modulator and demodulator of LDM transmission for 21-GHz-band satellite broadcasting
We are developing a satellite broadcasting system that uses layered division multiplexing (LDM) transmission. It enables broadcasting services to be provided flexibly in accordance with the receiving quality. We have developed a wideband modulator and demodulator of LDM transmission for 21-GHz-band satellite broadcasting. This paper shows their specifications, structure, and transmission performance evaluated in a laboratory experiment.
