Professionally oriented communication in the structure of education

The article discusses the features of the formation of oral speech skills of students of non-linguistic specialties in the tourism fi eld of communication using interactive Internet discussion technology. It has been established that teaching professionally oriented speaking in the unity of linguistic, expressive, and extralinguistic components underlies the production of informative, stimulating, and understandable oral speech. It has been revealed that interactive Internet communication makes it possible to present the actual characteristics of the object under study and its analysis through speaking and forms universal educational actions of students as factors in the use of oral speech skills in any communication situations. The conclusions about the eff ectiveness of teaching professionally oriented speaking in the tourism sector of communication based on the use of linguistic, expressive, and intercultural means of communication through discussion are drawn.
