Documentary journalism as a way to form moral values of student journalists

The article analyzes the stages of development of moral themes in domestic documentaries and the specifi cs of documentary journalism as a way of developing moral values in young people in general and student journalists in particular. The study of the issue of the formation of moral values among Russian youth in general and student journalists in particular is especially relevant at this stage of development of the media, when the content presented on digital media platforms displaces classic one, and traditional methods of education and training gradually become less relevant and give way to the main educational platform of the younger generation — new media, the information content of which is increasingly trusted by modern young people.
