Research on Relative Orientation Method of Combined Panoramic Cylindrical Image

To overcome the problems of relative orientation of cylindrical panoramic images, the relative relationship is derived based on cylindrical projection in the first step. To resolve the relative orientation parameters, the optimization algorithm is then conducted based on the linear and nonlinear algorithms, respectively. Experiments on cylindrical panoramic images are quantity analyzed carefully, which show that the reprojection error can attain within one pixel.
