Analysis of Factors Influencing the High Quality Development of E-commerce Logistics in the Digital Economy Environment: A Case Study of Guangdong Province
The digital economy serves as the prerequisite and safeguard for enterprises' high-quality development (HQD). The theme of how to achieve HQD through digitalization has garnered significant attention in current academic circles. This research focuses on the field of e-commerce logistics within the digital economy environment, specifically examining the development data of Guangdong Province from 2014 to 2022. By employing methods such as the entropy weight (EWM), the Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL), and expert interviews, the research constructs an evaluation index system for HQD in e-commerce logistics from five dimensions: innovation, coordination, greenness, globalization, and sharing. This system is used to evaluate the current status of HQD among e-commerce logistics enterprises and to analyze its influencing factors. The results reveal that R&D expenditure, cross-border e-commerce transaction volume, and logistics fixed asset investment are the key factors influencing the HQD of e-commerce logistics. These findings can, on the one hand, assist e-commerce logistics enterprises in pinpointing their efforts for achieving HQD; on the other hand, they can provide support for governments in formulating policies.
