Research on the factors influencing the agricultural supply chain resilience in the context of digital economy

The digital economy promotes the modernization of agricultural supply chain (ASC), but ASC also faces risks and uncertainties, exploring how to use the advantages of the digital economy to strengthen agricultural supply chain resilience (ASCR) can build a more robust and efficient ASC. This paper identifies 11 factors affecting ASCR from production, distribution, sales and supply chain collaboration dimension; DEMATEL and ISM are used to assess the logical relationship between the 11 factors. The study shows that information management, warehousing and preservation capacity and processing and packaging capacity have high influence degrees, while logistics management, production and demand management have high influenced degrees. Logistics management, information management and demand management are considered to be the core elements for enhancing supply chain resilience due to their high centrality. The paper proposes to enhance ASCR from three aspects: strengthening information sharing, optimizing demand management and improving logistics management.
