Integration of IOT Technology with Smart Grid: A Comprehensive Analysis

Rapid energy system transformation presents demand for flexible and sustainable solutions. The Internet of Things (IOT) and smart grids are investigated in this research, aiming to enhance efficiency, strengthen security measures and the sustainability of distributed energy. The study provides a comprehensive analysis outlining the possible pros and cons of integrating IOT technology with smart grid. Connecting the Internet of Things offers ways to improve real-time energy management, increase the security and stability of grids facing these new threats and help build a more sustainable source of power. But obstacles include emerging risks to cyber security, and the difficult task of integrating so many different technologies. It includes valuable lessons for stakeholders who are navigating the rapidly changing world of energy system transformation and integration within smart grids.
