‘দসযর ছড’ ছটমহলর ইতবতত (Chronicles of the 'Dashiar Chora' Enclave)
Before 2015, ‘Dashiar Chhara’ was an Indian enclave. Although officially this enclave was a part of Dinhata sub-division of Cooch Behar district under the West Bengal province of India; in reality the geographical location of this enclave was inside Bangladesh. This enclave was located between the cities of Lalmonirhat and Kurigram district of Bangladesh and on the north-eastern bank of the Dharla River within the Fulbari police station of Kurigram district. Out of 162 interchangeable enclaves between India and Bangladesh, this Dashiar Chhara enclave was full of distinctive features. Its area was much larger than other enclaves and the number of people was relatively high. Therefore, the evolution of this enclave will undoubtedly be regarded as a fascinating chapter for the history savvy reader.
