ফলসতন হমসর উতথন ও রজনতক চযলঞজসমহ (Rise of Hamas in Palestine and Its Political Challenges)
The state of Israel was born in 1948 with the help of western powers. As a consequence, a longterm and critical crisis was created in the Middle-East. Israel occupied the land of Palestine and has been continuously setting up Jews settelment illegally after the victory of Arab-Israel six days war in 1967. As a result, a constant change is taking place in the map of Palestine. With the help of military powers Israel has been extending its boundary overlooking the sovereignty of Palestine. In responce to that the First Intifada (Protest Movement) started in 1987-1991 as Palestinian movement against Israeli occupation. In the midst of Intifada, Hamas was born in 1987 under the leadership of Palestinian leader Sheikh Ahmed Yeasin. In 1993 with the mediation of the USA an agreement between Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Israel was signed which is known as the Oslo Accords; however, it failed to protect or serve the interest of the Palestinians. For that Hamas has been opposing the Oslo Accords. Eventually, Hamas started their protest against Israel in 2000-2004, which they called the Second Intefada. Later on, political rivalry between Hamas and PLO began following the 2006 general eletion in Gaza. Now Hamas is facing different political challanges and controlling the administration of Gaza Strip. Despite internal conflicts with the PLO and external conflicts with Israel on several occasions, Hamas is increasingly strengthening its position by facing various internal political challenges in line with managment of the administration of Gaza and the resistance movement againest Israeli aggression. Hamas is also strengthening its position by establishing relations with various states of the globe.
