Research on Control Method of Free-floating Platform for Microgravity Experiment
For the Free-floating Platform for Microgravity Experiment (FPME), this paper explores the optimal control problem for microgravity level within a specified duration. The paper proposes a control strategy of “the outer body of FPME ideally follows the inner body, while the inner body plans and follows the optimal motion trajectory for microgravity level.” Firstly, a high-precision dynamic model of China's Space Station (CSS), the outer body, and the inner body is established to lay the foundation for trajectory planning and controller design. Then, the inner body uses the convex optimization method to plan and follow the optimal motion trajectory for microgravity level. An active disturbance rejection controller is used in the outer body of FPME to avoid collision and reduce the influence of disturbance on the microgravity level of the inner body. Simulations show that the control strategy can plan and track the optimal trajectory of microgravity level according to the experiment duration and has good vibration isolation effect.
