Blue Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescent OLEDs With EQE up to 25% via 3MMLCT‐Induced and Short‐Lived Phosphorescent Dinuclear Pt(II) Sensitizers (Advanced Optical Materials 5/2025)
Dinuclear Pt(II) Complexes The novel butterfly-like dinuclear Pt(II) complexes, Di-Pt-CH3 and Di-Pt-CD3 with non-fluorinated NHC ligands are developed. They exhibit blue emission and a short emission lifetime. The EQEmax of 18.3% and 25.4% are obtained from PhOLED and PS-TADF OLED, respectively with higher efficiency and lifetime than those of Ir complex. The deuterium-substituted methyl group (-CD3), a significantly improved device lifetime. More details can be found in article 2402230 by Soo-Byung Ko, Taekyung Kim, Yun-Hi Kim, and co-workers.
