Development of a high overload resistant micro inertial measurement unit
Abstract A stepped vibration reduction scheme with double-layer structure anisotropic vibration reduction was creatively proposed, and the stepped vibration reduction design of damping pads and energy-absorbing materials was creatively carried out. A high-overload resistant micro-inertial measurement unit was creatively designed. Compared with the traditional high-overload single impact curve simulation, this paper quantitatively divides the impact duration into microsecond and millisecond stages, and studies the maximum stress and maximum deformation of the high-overload micro-inertial measurement unit through segmented multiple simulations. The simulation results show that the inertial measurement unit meets the index requirement of 20,000 g impact within 12 milliseconds. When the impact curve is in the microsecond stage, the maximum stress and maximum deformation of the high-overload resistant micro-inertial measurement unit reach the peak value. It is suitable to use stress wave theory to analyze the maximum stress and maximum deformation. The artillery test was carried out to determine the damage mechanism of the gyroscope chip. The artillery impact has a large high-frequency component, and the inertial module damping structure is insufficient to reduce the vibration of the high-frequency impact, resulting in the fracture of the gyroscope detection sensitive beam. Further vibration reduction protection design was carried out, and the final data met the requirements of various indicators, which has universal significance for further research on vibration reduction technology.
