A Modified Cauchy Problem With Nonlocal Boundary Condition for a Degenerate Hyperbolic Equation

ABSTRACT A new class of initial‐boundary value problems with nonlocal conditions on the Newton potential for the case of a hyperbolic equation with characteristic degeneration were set and studied. The a priori estimates of Sobolev norms for the solutions are established. Moreover, some estimates for the standard Bessel functions were established.

Abstract

ABSTRACT A new class of initial‐boundary value problems with nonlocal conditions on the Newton potential for the case of a hyperbolic equation with characteristic degeneration were set and studied. The a priori estimates of Sobolev norms for the solutions are established. Moreover, some estimates for the standard Bessel functions were established.
