SIMULATION MODELING OF PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM IN A STEAM WATER VESSEL

This article investigates pressure dynamics in a steam-water vessel (SWV) and its control system (CS) through simulation modeling. The goal is to develop a universal SWV model for predicting emergencies, optimizing existing CS, and creating new control algorithms. The pressure change model in the SWV is implemented in SimInTech, based on solving 13 differential equations accounting for water and steam properties and non-equilibrium processes. The CS includes tubular electric heaters (TEHs) and injection valves that regulate SWV pressure. Computational experiments simulate normal and emergency SWV operation. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of the CS in maintaining pressure using TEHs and injections. Simulation modeling of the SWV is valuable for optimizing existing control systems, improving efficiency, and developing new control algorithms for stable and safe SWV operation in various technological systems.
