La enseñanza del vibrato en el saxofón: análisis de las percepciones pedagógicas de los docentes
This article describes research focused on addressing discrepancies in the teaching of vibrato among saxophone teachers at the "María de Molina" Professional Music Conservatory. Initially, direct observation of auditions conducted by students in professional education was used to identify a significant disparity in the application of vibrato. The detection of this issue led to the implementation of a diagnostic test, carried out through an ad-hoc questionnaire divided into socio-demographic aspects and methodological conceptions. The digital design facilitated the distribution and collection of data efficiently, ensuring confidentiality and anonymity following ethical principles. The questionnaire results were analyzed to extract pedagogical implications and prepare a proposal for educational intervention. Common methodological aspects were highlighted, and alternatives were explored to address the identified disparities, with the aim of developing a viable and effective methodological proposal for the "María de Molina" Professional Music Conservatory. This methodological approach seeks to contribute to the improvement of vibrato teaching on the saxophone, establishing consensus criteria among the teaching staff and promoting a more uniform learning experience among students.
