OLHARES SOBRE O SEMIÁRIDO: TERRITÓRIO DE DESAFIOS E RESISTÊNCIA
This study examines the Northeastern semi-arid region as a territory marked by historical, social, and environmental challenges, yet also as a space of resistance and innovation. Spanning from colonization to contemporary policies, it analyzes the impacts of structural and climatic inequalities, highlighting Félix Guattari's ecosophy and initiatives such as the Brazilian Semi-Arid Alliance (ASA). Sustainable living practices, the valorization of local knowledge, and the cultural resistance of quilombola communities are presented as alternatives to the dominant development model, advocating for a vision that prioritizes social justice and environmental sustainability.
