Požadavky kladené na nový zákoník práce

The article aims to contribute to the ongoing discussion about the new Labour Code. The subject-matter of the Labour Code’s legislation – dependent work – is defined in the introduction. In addition to the basic principles of Labour Law, the article deals with relation of the Civil Code to the Labour Code and with representation of employees. Main part of the article addresses employment relationship. Some proposals of factual changes, e.g. in the sphere of working hours and compensation for damages are indicated in conclusion.
