Kodifikace soukromého práva a ochrana životního prostředí

The article deals with the environmental law consequences of the prepared codification of Czech Private Law. It especially focuses on the ownership of the environmental components as well as on the issues concerning liability for environmental detriment on the contraposition to the civil law liability for economical damage to environment. Other parts are dedicated to the rights of the neighbourhood towards land and trees as well as to the environmental liability for old (historical) contaminations of the sites. The results become recommendations for some useful changes and amendments to the Czech Civil Code.
