<b>FACTORS AFFECTING THE WELFARE OF RICE FARMERS IN KOTA DATAR VILLAGE, HAMPARAN PERAK DISTRICT</b>

Most of the population in agrarian countries live in rural areas where most of them fulfill their daily needs from the agricultural sector. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the welfare of rice farming in Kota Datar Village, Hamparan Perak District. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research that uses the literature study method by referring to previous research journals. The results of this study explain that to achieve the welfare of rice farming in Kota Datar Village, Hamparan Perak District, factors that are important to consider such as land area, labor, capital, technology, and government policy. The government as a facilitator keeps the price of rice stable in its marketing because this is very desirable for farmers. After all, stable rice prices can improve the welfare of farming businesses.
