Delta Operator Sliding Mode Speed Control of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor
Aiming at the problems of large system oscillation and slow response speed of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) based on sliding mode control (SMC) scheme with conventional reaching law, a novel sliding mode controller is designed by Delta operator discrete reaching law. First, fal function is introduced, and Delta operator is used to discretize the system of PMSM. Then, a sliding mode controller for PMSM is designed using Delta operator discrete reaching law, and its stability is proved. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed Delta operator discretization method in PMSM systems. Compared with conventional sliding mode controllers based on exponential reaching law, the proposed controller in this paper has smaller overshoot, faster response speed, and better performance.
