Defect Detection of Composite Insulators Based on the Improved Faster-RCNN Model
Electricity is an environmentally friendly renewable resource and a clean energy source that is most widely used by households in today's society, so ensuring the safe transmission of power resources is an important issue. Electric energy is mainly transmitted to the destination through the transmission line, a composite insulator is an insulating device that can be used on the transmission line to ensure the safe transmission of electricity, which may have some defects caused by human factors or environmental factors. Some defects are easy to find, and some defects are very male to be found, the integrity of the composite insulator is an important condition for the safe transmission of electric energy and reducing the energy loss in the transmission process. This paper studies the defect detection of composite insulators.
