Research on the Self-Powered Flexible Non-Contact Distance/Contact Pressure Dual-Mode Sensor for Manipulator Based on Triboelectric Nanogenerator

As industrial intelligence advances and the value of intelligent manipulators in numerous application domains grows, so do the demand for intelligent manipulator sensing systems. In this study, we propose a novel flexible dual-mode sensor (DP-TENG) based on a triboelectric nanogenerator that can sense contact pressure and target distance and may be used to precisely manipulate and grab intelligent manipulators. The DP-TENG is made up of a triboelectric layer made of MXene/Ecoflex nanocomposite and a liquid electrode made of carbon nanotube dispersion. It has outstanding charge storage performance. The gadget can detect the distance between it and its target within 15 cm, identify the contact force with the target within 16 N, and is exceptionally durable and stable. As a result, this flexible dual-mode sensor we propose will show a wide range of possibilities in the future in the practical application of intelligent manipulators.
