Dynamic Real Time Event-Triggered Scheduling for Hydrogen-Based Integrated Energy System

The non periodic disturbance in hydrogen-based integrated energy system (HIES) pose a significant challenge in system scheduling. Traditional static event-triggered scheduling require a carefully designed of event-triggered boundaries. Over tightly boundaries can result in excessive computations, while over loosely may lead to non-optimal scheduling. In this paper, a optimized scheduling problem and a dynamic real time event-triggered approach is developed for real time scheduling of HIES to capture the non periodic disturbance. The scheduling problem can be divided into an upper-level primal problem and a lower-level fixed problem by fixing binary logic variables. The dynamic event boundaries include renewable, load and device operation boundaries, which is obtained by dual sensitivity analysis of a fixed scheduling problem. The developed approach ensures both optimality and real-time performance by solving the fixed problem through real-time computations and triggering the primal problem with dynamic boundaries. The numerical result shows that the scheduling can respond to promptly events, and the merits of obtaining method of event boundaries are also demonstrated.
