Carbon Tracing Method for Commercial and Office Park Distribution Networks Considering Load-Side Electricity Substitution
Electricity substitution is one of the main forms of energy transition. By replacing the combustion of traditional fossil fuels with electricity, it plays a significant role in achieving the “dual carbon” goals. However, electricity substitution loads in the power system still produce carbon emissions. To clarify the carbon reduction benefits before and after electricity substitution, a carbon tracing method for the distribution network in commercial and office parks considering load-side electricity substitution is proposed. Firstly, based on the iterative characteristics of carbon emission flow, a precise load-side carbon emission tracing model is established. Secondly, combining the carbon emission conversion mechanism of electricity substitution loads, the carbon emission factor is corrected to address the unfair problem of the carbon emission flow method allocating the carbon emissions of electricity substitution loads to various nodes, thus constructing a load-side electricity substitution model. Finally, a commercial and office park in a certain region is used as an example to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results show that this method is more equitable in measuring the carbon emissions of electricity substitution loads and can provide scientifically accurate quantitative results for assessing carbon reduction indicators and the effectiveness of energy-saving technologies in commercial and office park distribution networks.
