Predictive Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control for Air Conditioning Supply Air Temperature Based on GWO
Variable air volume (VAV) air conditioning systems for supply air temperature control involve multiple devices and ducts, characterized by significant time delays and susceptibility to internal and external disturbances. To address these challenges, a control approach combining a linear active disturbance rejection controller (LADRC) with a Smith predictor (SP) is designed, termed predictive linear active disturbance rejection control (SPLADRC), aimed at compensating for delays and enhancing disturbance rejection capabilities. To further improve control performance, controller parameters are optimized using the grey wolf optimization (GWO) algorithm and compared with several common control methods. Simulation results demonstrate that the SPLADRC optimized by the grey wolf optimization algorithm achieves better tracking and robustness, showing promising potential for practical applications.
