Research on the Modeling and Optimization of Mutual Inductance in Dynamic Wireless Charging Systems for Electric Vehicles

The interaction of mutual inductance between coils is pivotal in dynamic wireless charging for electric vehicles, profoundly shaping power transmission performance throughout the charging process. This paper proposes a mutual inductance calculation model that accounts for the driving state of vehicles, aiming to effectively address the current challenges in dynamic wireless vehicle charging. Firstly, the rectangular coil is chosen as the focus of study for its enhanced stability against drifting. Subsequently, a novel mutual inductance calculation model is developed by integrating the Neumann formula with the Biot-Savart law. The optimal coil parameters are designed by backpropagation (BP) neural network and genetic algorithm, and the influence of different bias on mutual inductance is discussed by simulation. Finally, an experimental infrastructure is established tailored for dynamic wireless charging systems intended for vehicles. This platform is designed to authenticate the precision and efficacy of the proposed computational model under real-world operational conditions.
