Development and Execution for Inertial Wheels in Satellite Stabilization
The aim is to craft a inertial wheel for attitude stabilization, showcasing its practicality and efficacy. To achieve this, a torque-mode framework is erected, and a digital control scheme is concocted, leveraging DSP (Digital Signal Processor) and FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) technologies. Initially, the analytical dissection of the brushless DC motor's mathematical model, integral to the inertial wheel, is undertaken. Subsequently, a current closed-loop system is orchestrated, utilizing a PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) style buck converter, through the electrical module library, followed by model experimentation. The culmination is the assembly of a prototype. By exemplifying the electromotive force, the response curves of the inertial wheel prototype's torque, and current are scrutinized. The prototype demonstrates an average output torque accuracy exceeding 5%. The experimental outcomes from the prototype align with the simulation outcomes, corroborating the theoretical analysis and affirming the rationality and potency of the model and design. Moreover, the model and prototype serve as a test bed for an array of sophisticated control algorithms, offering innovative approaches to the conception and debugging.
